School Academic Leads for Inclusive Pedagogies

Our School Academic Leads for Inclusive Pedagogies (SALIPs) will work to promote and embed inclusive approaches. They will do this by helping you understand what this means for you, in your own disciplinary context.

They will also take the lead on change locally. This will help schools meet our institutional Baseline Standards, agreed by the Taught Student Education Board in 2018.

The SALIP role is a fractional leadership position and they will work closely with Directors of Student Education, Academic Assessment Leads and other key staff in schools. They will also work in partnership with your students to take this agenda forwards. Our SALIPs will provide a disciplinary insight which will enable you to explore issues of inclusivity in a way that’s applicable to your subject area.
